On reaching Pongola
Turn right onto R66 towards Nongoma
Continue for 20km then turn right onto R69 to Vryheid/Louwsburg
Continue for 2km, turn left onto dirt road with signs 'Mpilo' and 'Amakhosi' lodges
Go through security gate, then follow the main dirt road
Continue for approximately 14km, pass Amakhosi lodge signs, and cross a low-level river bridge/causeway
Open the Makongo Hills gate and continue along the main road for approximately 8km.
Follow the signs to the Lodge
